The World Bodypainting Festival is a pretty big deal. Every year, artists from around the world gather in Austria and compete to see who can create the wildest, most spectacular, bizarre and whimsical designs using the human body as a canvas. Often, the results are hyper real and a visual treat for us spectators.
From outlandish mythical creatures to space aliens and woodland nymphs, these living, imaginative masterpieces are certainly unique. Here are a few of our favourite images from the event.
