Western Canada is going up in flames, literally.
The provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan are battling over 200 wildfires that have engulfed thousands of acres. Not only are these fires wreaking havoc all over the continent, the air quality in Vancouver was recently compared to that of Beijing. It’s not that much of a surprise though since every year the west “welcomes” wildfire season, except this time, it seems to have come a little earlier than expected.
While locals attempt to deal with the intense wildfires, people are also capturing some incredible photos and video footage along the way.
