THE AFFAIR, SEASON 4New episodes every Sunday starting June 17 at 9 p.m. ET.
The show with unreliable narrators and more affairs than we can keep track of is back for another season of AMBD – Adults Making Bad Decisions. Seriously, who is looking out for the kids on this show? Definitely not their parents. When Season 4 premieres, we’ll see just how bad out of shape Noah, Helen, Alison and Cole are in after continuing to do damage to themselves and one another. Plus, there will be sexy times. There are always sexy times on The Affair. CraveTV
INSECURE, SEASON 1June 1
Season 1 of Issa Rae’s groundbreaking HBO series Insecure revolves around Rae’s character Issa, a twenty-something LA native who is stuck in a job she doesn’t love and a relationship that has grown stale. Along with her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji), a successful lawyer, the women navigate romantic relationships and career issues from the underrepresented viewpoint of young black women in America. It sounds heavy, and it can be, but it’s also hilarious and boasts an incredible soundtrack thanks to musical director Solange Knowles. HBO Canada
JUST ANOTHER IMMIGRANTJune 8
Comedian Romesh Ranganathan has been selling out stadiums in his native England for years, even hosting his own BBC show. But in his new series Just Another Immigrant, Ranganathan is leaving it all behind to try to make it in America. Well, he’s not leaving everything behind. The hilarious docu-series will follow the comedian as he moves his wife and three children to America, where he quickly learns that the land of the free isn’t nearly as welcoming as it looks on TV. Actually, does it even look welcoming on TV anymore? CraveTV
ERIK GRIFFIN: AMERIKAN WARRIORJune 8
Although he’s best known for his time on Workaholics and the new Showtime series I’m Dying Up Here (Season 1 and 2 available now on CraveTV), comedian Erik Griffin has been working as a stand up for years. In his hilarious new comedy special Erik Griffin: Amerikan Warrior, Griffin riffs on Black Panther (it wasn’t that good), lazy protesting (it’s the only way to survive in 2018) and personal responsibility (who needs it?). WRONG MANJune 17
In 1996, director and producer Joe Berlinger shone a light on the West Memphis Three, the three teenagers sentenced to life in prison and in one case, death, for killing three young boys in Memphis. Thanks in large part to Berlinger’s documentary, the three men were eventually exonerated and released after serving 18 years in jail. Now Berlinger is back with three new cases, compiling a team of experts to determine whether three men in the US deserve to be sitting on death row or walking free. CraveTV
HARD SUNJune 15
From the creator of Luther comes Hard Sun, a new take on pre-apocalyptic London. I know, we’re so used to post-apocalyptic films and shows! Twist! The six-part drama stars Jim Sturgess and Agyness Deyn as detectives who must work together after inadvertently discovering that the earth is going to destruct in five years. This seems like a not-so-subtle message that we need to get along to stop climate change. You hear that, Donald? CraveTV
KILLJOYS, SEASON 3June 22
The fourth season of the hit Space series Killjoys is premiering in July, which makes now the best time to catch up with Dutch, John and D’avin, aka everyone’s favourite extraterrestrial bounty hunters. In Season 3, the trio are back to help save the world, but things get a little complicated when Dutch finds out she has an evil clone. Um, at least they can share outfits? Yeah, just make sure you put an ‘X’ with a marker on the ‘good’ Dutch. Seasons 1 and 2 of Killjoys are available now on CraveTV. Space
LOVE MEANS ZEROJune 23
First premiering at TIFF in 2017, Showtime documentary Love Means Zero follows the astonishing career of tennis coach Nick Bollettieri. A polarizing figure, Bollettieri helped make champions out of Andre Agassi, Serena and Venus Williams, Monica Seles and more, with each player paying a price for the love and support of a man who was loyal only to the game. Starting the first tennis camp in the US, a place that some players described as a prison, viewers will find themselves questioning what price is worth paying to be not only the best player, but the best coach in the world. THE HANDMAID’S TALE, SEASON 2New episodes every Monday.
The show that won literally every award is back with another season to terrify viewers and act as a reminder to vote, resist, and do whatever it takes to keep the red robes as fiction. In Season 2 of Margaret Atwood’s stunning The Handmaid’s Tale, Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss returns as Offred and fights to free her unborn child from the horrifying constraints of Gilead. Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel and Ann Dowd all reprise their roles, so you can expect another sweep come awards seasons. New episodes are added to CraveTV one day after their broadcast premiere on Sunday nights on Bravo. Bravo
PATRICK MELROSENew episodes every Saturday.
Fans of Sherlock Holmes who are finding themselves going through Benedict Cumberbatch-withdrawal (it’s a real sickness) will be relieved to see the English actor returning to the small screen in the new series Patrick Melrose. Based on Edward St. Aubyn’s critically acclaimed book series, Cumberbatch plays the title character, a man coming to grips with a traumatic childhood that has resulted in a substance-dependent adult. The new miniseries also stars Holliday Grainger and Jessica Raine. Watch the fifth and final episode on Saturday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET. CraveTV
BILLIONS, SEASON 3New episodes every Sunday.
When we last saw the players on Billions, Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) was looking like he was finally going to be taken down by his enemy, Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti). The two Emmy and Golden Globe winners will once against spar off against each other this season, with Asia Kate Dillon’s Taylor now a series regular. Also new this season will be John Malkovich, who will play a Russian billionaire (we can see it) and comedian Mike Birbiglia, who we assume won’t play anyone scary. Watch the Season 3 finale on Sunday, June 10 at 9 p.m ET. CraveTV
All this, plus new episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale, Billions, Patrick Melrose and more coming to CraveTV in June!
