Don’t cha… wish The Pussycat Dolls would finally release the comeback single they’ve been teasing for (quite literally) months? Well, you’re in luck. After exercising a level of patience that would surely work most die-hard fans into an online frenzy, the Dolls are finally dropping their latest single titled React today.Last year, the PCD took the X Factor UK stage by storm, performing the track live during the finale, which paired with a comeback tour announcement we honestly never expected. The performance marked the first time in 10 years the Dolls performed together, and added fuel to the fire of questions fans likely had when the band disbanded over a decade ago. Were the girls not getting along? Have they squashed those issues? Will Nicole Scherzinger still be the front-woman, or will it be more of an equal performance in 2020?Well, we don’t have all our answers, but it’s safe to assume the band didn’t get back together without a bit of drama. A quick Google search will provide trending headlines like “The Pussycat Dolls have finally accepted that Nicole Scherzinger is the frontwoman after years of fighting”, hinting that the power struggle for top cat (do you see what we did there?) might still be alive and well. Fans might also have noticed that Melody Thornton was missing from the stage during the comeback tour announcement, and has chosen to not relive her former PCD glory. In an interview back in January of last year, Thornton explained that “Honestly, I think that some of us have really needed to be on our own, and have our own journey. And I think that, on the flip side, there has to be time spent together, where you’re not working together, and can learn to respect one another. I think this would make for a better work environment. But I really don’t see myself returning.”[video_embed id='1791271']RELATED: We got a surprise visit from one of the judges of ‘Canada’s Drag Race’[/video_embed]With Thornton pursuing her solo career across other endeavors, fans are left with 5 of the original 6: Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt and Jessica Sutta. In a recent interview speaking to their reunion, Wyatt told fans, “It feels powerful, it feels exciting, there’s a real determination to battle our unfinished business and create the best work that we ever have.”[video_embed id='1894252']RELATED: Dig into our 'Masked Singer' moment of the night’[/video_embed]
