day-old pizza lovers, our prayers may have been answered. Introducing the Reheatza, the latest breakthrough in pizza technology. Yes, our days of having to deal with soggy, overcooked, disgusting leftovers could finally be over.
The Reheatza is a new microwavable pan that promises to turn those floppy fridge slices into crisp, toasted, oven-quality deliciousness in two minutes flat. Yep, that means we can say goodbye to ovens, frying pans and conventional nuking when it comes to our leftover pizza.
This magical invention appears to work like a perfectly balanced, time-efficient mini-oven. It consists of a microwave-absorbing pan and a microwave-blocking lid. While in the microwave, the pan heats to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, the “perfect temperature” to re-crisp our crust, while the lid traps the heat and melts our toppings just right (like a convection oven). The lid also blocks the pesky overcooking and dryness caused by direct microwave rays.
The Reheatza claims it can cook frozen pizza, fish, waffles, chicken, steak, quesadillas, veggies, fries, toast and a ton more. Hm. Not too shabby if it works, right?
The gadget is currently looking to raise $47,500 on Kickstarter to get off the ground and put an end to our pizza leftover sorrow. With as little as a $36 USD donation, you can get your hands on a Reheatza before everyone else. The inventors say it will eventually retail for around $39 USD. Contribute today, with the promise of a tastier pizza tomorrow. Check out the video, above, to see how this baby works.
