When it comes to pleasing fans, Sir Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the best celebs in the game. He snaps countless pics; he comforts; he inspires; he plays around; and sometimes, he answers questions THAT HE DOESN’T GET TO FINISH. Which is exactly what happened to Scottish comedian Rachel Jackson.
Jackson recently did a set for BBC Scotland’s The Comedy Underground where she told the tale of almost being asked a question by The Rock, only to have him pulled away by his handler in the middle of it. The clip, which was posted on BBC Scotland’s Twitter channel Friday, got a good laugh from the people of the internet, who always loves a story about outrageous disappointment.
“I was introduced to [The Rock] and he shook my hand—really firm handshake—and he looked me in the eye and said, ‘So do you—,’ and then his minder came and took him away,” Jackson says in the clip. “That was like 14 months ago and, I kid you not, every single day I’m torturing myself. What did The Rock wanna know!?”
As humans, there are some things we can move past and forget—like that friend you stopped talking to in Grade three or the pet caterpillar you had in kindergarten. But there are other things, like a conversation with The Rock, that you can never, ever, ever, ever, forget, especially if it ended on such a cliffhanger.
Thankfully, Dwayne Johnson is not in the business of disappointing fans. When he saw Jackson’s video making the rounds in the Twittersphere, he finally satisfied that torturous question that’s been plaguing the comedian for more than a year.
So what did The Rock wanna know??
🤣 I wanted to know, “So do you make it the ha ha?” which was my absurd way of asking “Are you a comedian?” because I had a few rounds of tequila before I hit the red carpet. Keep kickin ass 👊🏾👊🏾 https://t.co/tFCnhvbjVR

Keeping totally on brand, it turns out The Rock (after “a few rounds of tequila”) wanted to ask Jackson if she was a comedian in the goofiest way imaginable—”So do you make it the ha ha?” We’re going to need somebody to put that on a t-shirt ASAP.
Jackson was finally able to achieve the peace of mind that had been eluding her for more than 14 months, and then some.
This has just made my year. 🍾
