‘Twas a royal religious weekend for the Cambridges, Harry and their extended family
Prince William, Duchess Kate and Prince Harry capped off the weekend by going to Sunday mass. While most of the family also attended mass on Christmas Day (where Kate wore a beautiful green Sportmax coat; come on, you know you care), they were all at St. Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen‘s Sandringham Estate.
Kate traded her olive coat for a tweed dress suit and looked amazing, as usual. William wore a standard suit, as did his brother Harry, but with that beard and that ginger-ness, he wins the dapper contest.
The Queen and Prince Philip were there, naturally, as were Prince Charles, Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice.
In Her Majesty’s annual Christmas Day broadcast, she spoke about family: “One of the joys of living a long life is watching one’s children, then grandchildren, then great-grandchildren, help decorate the Christmas tree. And this year my family has a new member to join in the fun!”
Oh, to see George and Charlotte in their holiday PJs opening up their present. That might be better than seeing any photos of the Gingerbeard. Almost better.
Kanye got Kim 150 gifts for Christmas, NBD
Kanye West is already notorious for spoiling wife Kim Kardashian so just when you think his past generosity can’t be outdone comes a pile of presents, all for Kim. Kardashian showed off the mountain of boxes that took up an entire wall in a room in Kourtney‘s home in the family’s weekly livestream Sunday night.
“We’ve got ‘To Kim from Kanye,'” Kris Jenner‘s boyfriend, Corey Gamble, said in the clip. “One hundred fifty gifts and counting.”
The gifts included a fur coat (she’ll be hearing from PETA soon, if she hasn’t already), a Prada jumpsuit and a Louis Vuitton dress. “He sent his assistant to Italy and shopped via Skype,” Kim said in her livestream.
“You’re very spoiled, Kim,” commented Kris, to which Kim replied, “I haven’t shopped for myself in over six months. And Kanye has to deal with me every day.”
Hmm, this may be the first time we’ve ever agreed with Jenner.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are still together and Miranda Lambert’s apparently OK with it
Gwen and Blake went to a football game on Sunday and took lots of pics together. First, as they were headed to the University of Phoenix stadium to catch Shelton’s favourite team, the Arizona Cardinals, take on the Green Bay Packers.

Then again during the game.
And once more, this time for a selfie break.

Just when you thought Miranda might have had it up to here with all the press Gwake is getting news comes that she’s now following her ex’s current gal on Twitter. In light of the recent news that Lambert herself has a new man, perhaps Miranda is simply showing there truly isn’t any drama involving herself, Blake and Gwen. Weird? Yes. But kinda cool? Damn right.
Carson Daly got married
Speaking of love and The Voice, the show’s host tied the knot with his longtime love, Siri Pinter. While many of us were saying “Merry Christmas” (or “Happy Holidays”), Carson and Siri were saying “I do.” Today has some beautiful shots from their surprise wedding, which included their three children, Daly and Pinter’s parents and other loved ones. Congrats to the entire family!
Families come in all shapes and sizes… but all you need is love. This happened yesterday and it was the best day of my life. Merry Christmas Eve from my family to yours! by the amazing @peetigga A photo posted by Siri Pinter (@siriouslydelicious) on
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux took their first selfie. Merry Christmas to us all!
One of our favourite couples has finally
gotten married succumbed to social media. When Justin joined Instagram earlier this month we knew/hoped it was only a matter of time before Jen made an appearance, and lo and behold, our prayers have been answered with this happiest of holiday selfies. The sun-kissed skiers (snowboarders?) shared their first couple selfie over the weekend and celebrated the momentous occasion by calling out a few of their favourite charities. Now we only have one question (besides the pressing do-they-ski-or-board query): Who took the picture? Help us here. We’ve been analyzing angles all day.
Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas! If there’s any Xmas cheddar leftover… A few of our favorite charities… @stjude @bestfriendsanimalsociety @austinpetsalive @animalleague @doctorswithoutborders @jimmykimmel (I keeeeed! He’s doing just fine) Love Health and PEACE in 2016.

The Rock bought his uncle a truck as a touching thank you
If you don’t follow Dwayne Johnson on Instagram then you are missing out. Whether he’s posting pics of himself in fanny packs, his dog’s latest antics, his adorable baby daughter, or his crazy wake-up times, or hashtagging like a boss, it’s all fun. But sometimes he gets serious. Two days after Christmas, the actor dedicated a post to his uncle to whom he gifted a brand-new bad-ass truck. Uncle Tonga is not only responsible for supporting him back in the day, saying, “I’ll never forget what he did for me when I had nothing.” Um… what is this salty discharge?
Merry Christmas Uncle Tonga – enjoy your new truck! Cool Christmas story to share with y’all… Known my “Uncle Tonga” since I was 5yrs old. My grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia helped train him to become a professional wrestler in the 70’s. Throughout Tonga’s illustrious wrestling career he changed his name to “King Haku” and became one the WWE’s most sought after “bad guys” and still known to this day for being one of the toughest and legit most vicious man in wrestling history. Years later and I get a call from WWE saying “Vince McMahon wants to see you wrestle immediately. He’s flying you to RAW tomorrow and you’ll have a tryout match.” I thought holy shit that’s awesome, buuuut there’s a few problems: For me, I wasn’t just having “a tryout match”, because I had never actually HAD a real match in my life. Ever. WWE thought that I already had multiple matches under my belt, but little did they know. What they also didn’t know was that I was broke as hell and didn’t actually own wrestling gear – no boots, knee pads or most importantly.. wrestling trunks. I went to Sports Authority and bought some bright ass white volleyball knee pads, called my Uncle and asked if he had ANY trunks I could use for my tryout. He said all I have is a pair of shiny purple trunks (purple was his signature color), I told him I don’t care if the trunks are all the colors of Skittles, I’ll happily wear them. When I picked the trunks up from him I’ll never forget the monster hug he gave me, look me in the eyes and said, “I’m so proud of you. Go get ’em nephew!” Here’s the picture of me wrestling my FIRST MATCH EVER in Corpus Christi, TX in front of 15,000 people – proudly in my lucky purple trunks. And the rest… was history. My Uncle Tonga is a family man, humble man and champion. Most importantly one of the greatest human beings I know. So we walk outside and I said “Uncle how do you like my truck?” He said, “Whoooaaa nephew it’s beautiful… I love it!” I said “Good ’cause it’s yours.” He was speechless. Thru tears (manly of course;) we monster hugged ’cause I’ll never forget what he did for me when I had nothing. Merry Christmas Uncle and ofa atu. #LuckyPurpleTrunks A photo posted by therock (@therock) on
