Monday’s semifinal episode of America’s Got Talent: The Champions (Monday’s at 8 p.m. ET on CTV) was a collection of acts that appeared to be at odds with one another. On one side were the acrobatic feats of strength and contortion that threatened catastrophe at every turn, wowing viewers with their ability to cheat death. On the other, magic tricks and comedy. Terrifying in their own right, but more of an emotional strain than an actual "falling onto fire" pain. It’s very difficult to compare the two sides but then again no one said  AGT: The Champions was easy.Judges Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Howie Mandel were also split, with Klum and Dixon applauding the incredible physicality of the many acrobatic acts this season, while Cowell and Mandel seem to be let down every time an act came up short of requiring medical attention. If viewers want blood, they can watch UFC.Monday’s vote by the Superfans cut the semifinalists in half, with the remaining six acts completing the Top 10 going into next weeks’ finale. As for who made the cut, the final list has a little something for everyone.[video_embed id='1891032']JLo and Shakira put on winning Halftime show[/video_embed]

SANDOU TRIO RUSSIAN BAR

Sandou Trio are putting together routines that involve doing double flips off a bar that is both on and over fire and we’re just trying to not walk into the corner of our kitchen counter every day. Cassie Sandou told the judges that there are so few Russian bar performers because it requires a complete lack of nerves while performing the incredible stunts. Or fear of heights. Or fire. Or pain. Or thoughts of what to make for dinner that night.

GERMAN SUPERSTAR HANS

If you're looking for a German to blow your mind, then you’ll be voting Hans in 2020. A reminder to never underestimate the power of free swag, Hans and his political campaign-turned-dance performance-turned-tribute to Jean-Claude Van Damme and his legacy of doing the splits, the two-minute performance packed enough entertainment to get Hans voted through to the finals. What his exact talent is has yet to be clearly defined, but the excitement to see what Hans will do next is already bubbling.

VIOLINIST TYLER BUTLER-FIGUEROA

Maybe there is something more beautiful and purer than an 11-year-old cancer survivor performing “What A Wonderful World” on the violin. Wait for it. Wait for it…nope, nothing. This is peak sweetness.

SINGER MARCELITO POMOY

Two-for-the-price-of-one singer Marcelito Pomoy easily earned a spot in the finale following his performance of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman’s “Con Te Partirò” or “Time To Say Goodbye” (even the song choice has two options!). Howie said that he thought the winner of Pilipinas Got Talent could win this season of Champions, while at the other end of the table, Simon said that he wanted to hear something different from Pomoy. Because singing in two completely different ranges in the same song isn’t different enough? Oh, Simon.

DOG TRAINER ALEXA LAURENBURGER

Alexa Laurenburger and her team of child’s best friends returned with a new set of tricks and the 11-year-old performer kept the mood light with the song choice of “Jump In The Line,” although it was never explained why the background scene was a haunted house. Did a dog eat her backdrop homework? Kidding, those dogs never misbehave.

ACROBATS DUO TRANSCEND

The Superfans voted for the dueling ab-crobat teams Duo Destiny and Duo Transcend in sixth and seventh place on Monday night in an ab-solutely evenly matched pairing. The decision of which team to bring into the finals was up to the judges and although both teams are incredibly talented, Duo Transcend pulled ahead this week just ab-it. They made roller skating scary and sexy in a way that's nearly impossible, delivering a performance that was worthy of its soundtrack to “The Greatest Show.” Heidi called itperfect, Simon said that it was immaculate, we say don’t try this at home. Also, how can four people have so many abs?Watch America’s Got Talent: The Champions every Monday at 8 pET on CTV.[video_embed id='1891048']Brad Pitt continues his winning streak at the BAFTAs[/video_embed]
