Everyone has their own unique eating habits. French fries dipped in milkshake is delicious to some, but gross to others.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti shared her own interesting eating habit Friday evening when she took to Instagram to showcase the way she eats cake.
Her reasoning? Apparently, she’s just “not that into frosting.” The internet was split and it caused quite a debate. The lovers of frosting were alarmed, while the cake purists stood by her. For those who enjoy both the icing and the cake, this way of eating seemed a bit – weird.
Honestly, eating cake like this should be illegal https://t.co/KWszaN1H3c

But Peretti’s not alone. If we’re being honest, most of us can probably point to that one thing that we eat in a weird way. Some of the staff from The Social were brave enough to come clean.
“I can’t eat anything from wood. No wooden chopsticks, or wooden spatula, wooden cutting boards, or wooden bowls. It gives me the same feeling that people get who can’t stand someone scratching a chalkboard with their nails.” –Segment Producer, Elvis Prusic
“I never want any of the different foods on my plate to touch. And I always eat one thing at a time, so I go for my favourite part of the plate first!” –Segment Producer, Meghan Lackenbauer
“I have a weird way I eat bananas. After it’s peeled, I divide the banana into thirds with my thumb. It naturally splits into thirds, and I don’t think people realize this.” –Anonymous Social Staffer
“I don’t know how far along the weird spectrum this lies, but I always have to eat my corn a specific way: wider, stem end in my left hand, and smaller top end in my right. And I always eat it right to left, with a four row height of corn per mouthful ideally.” –Marketing Producer, Jennifer Barnes
“I eat my cake exactly like Chelsea Peretti! I feel so seen. Also, I don’t eat the crunchy end of French fries.” –Segment Producer, Kathleen Newman-Bremang
