Remember last October when the entire nation of Canada was consumed with Jays fever and the Toronto Public Library (TPL) tweeted their support for Canada’s team through book titles? Remember their all-out book war with the Kansas City library? Well, they’re back at it again, this time in a battle with the Miami library over the Raptors.

Before they met the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference Semi-finals, the TPL provided the Raps with a few practical reads for going into the series:

The Miami-Dade Public Library countered with their own message for the Raptors:

So naturally, Toronto did some reading on how to use the heat to their advantage.

And just for good measure, they called upon the great 6ix god and die-hard Raptors fan, Drake, for support. Views from the top anyone?

Things got a little more aggressive after we won game 2 at home.

But Toronto was having none of it. Or, they were having it. But for breakfast.

Also, being Canadian, the TPL took a moment to remind the Heat (in the shadiest way possible), that proper etiquette is important to us.

And of course, a moment for those French-Canadian fans who might like to spend a game at Jurassic Park:

By Friday, TPL was ready to end this series at game 6.

And by game 7, with the pressure on, all of Toronto was ready for the series win.

And after that epic battle of libraries and ball teams, Toronto came out on top in both. TPL sent off some consolation prizes to Florida though. So no hard feelings?

On to the next! Do we have any books on Cleveland?
