Finding wildlife in your backyard can be exciting (unless it’s a raccoon going through your garbage). But spotting a deer in your backyard is extra cool, especially when it doesn’t run away. So what’s the first thing we want to do when we find a majestic creature in our yards? Feed it, of course.

That’s what 17-year-old Kelvin Peña did when the deer he named ‘Money’ came into his backyard in Pennsylvania. “His name is Money ‘cause I feel like he deserves that name – money makes me happy and he did too, so I felt like we had a friendship,” he said. Well, we’ve got to give him that.

Rather than trying to feed the deer a carrot, or some other deer type food, he throws crackers on the ground for the deer to eat. Just watch:

“We play basketball whenever he be here outside. It be lit man. We love the woods,” said Kelvin. Overall, he and his friend Money had a great time.

But that wasn’t the last of Money! The next time the deer came around, he brought the whole ‘squad.’ And what do you feed a deer squad? Kelvin fed the deer family powdered doughnuts. At least they seemed to like them… He also makes sure to feed all the deer because “’round here, everybody eats.”

After some backlash on Twitter about his choice of deer food, Kelvin bought some healthy strawberries for the next time the deer came around. Well at least he’s feeding them something natural now.

This family’s too cute. We’re thankful that Kelvin shared his hilarious videos, and we’re a little jealous we don’t have a deer friend (or squad) of our own.

“Alright squad, be safe.”

WATCH: If you can’t get enough of Money and his squad, check out these videos of other tame wild deer.
