Jimmy Kimmel apparently has the power to make miracles happen. Why you may ask? Because although they swore it would never happen, the cast of Friends reunited on the show last night… well, at least half of them did.

Appearing as a guest on last night’s show, Jennifer Aniston was “convinced” to read lines from Kimmel’s self-penned Friends fan-fiction script, with Jen revising her character of Rachel, and Jimmy stepping in as Ross. But simply reading lines from a script wasn’t good enough for Kimmel, who pulled a curtain open to reveal a fully re-created kitchen set from the show.

As the two of them awkwardly read through the imagined scene in the kitchen – complete with laugh-track – the ever-familiar apartment door swung open to first reveal Courteney Cox (“You dragged Court in to this?” moans Aniston. “That’s not Court, that’s Monica,” reminds Kimmel) followed by Lisa Kudrow a few lines later. The hilarious bit ended with the trio calling it quits on the script prior to the “love-making scene”, and a lonely and lost Kimmel rode it out alone.

Don’t worry Jimmy, there are plenty of other friends out there for you. Perhaps Matt Damon can keep you company?
