There are some exes who get along with one another, and there are some who would like nothing more than to have each other out of their lives forever. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are in the former category; despite splitting up 15 years ago amid speculation that he cheated on her with Angelina Jolie, the exes are totally fine with each other. More than fine, actually."Jen and Brad are friends and occasionally connect," a source told Us Weekly. "There's no chance that a potential run-in between Jen and Brad will be tense or uncomfortable." And there is a strong chance that the two will likely cross paths during this awards season. Aniston is getting all kinds of love for her role on The Morning Show, as is Pitt for his performance in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In fact, with both actors nominated for Golden Globe and SAG awards, it would be kind of amazing to see them show a little love for each other on a red carpet. If a red-carpet run-in does happen, you can rest assured that it's not going to be awkward at all. "Brad supported Jen at her 50th birthday party in February, and the two remain fond of each other, despite reports that might suggest otherwise," said the insider. Now, keep in mind, Brad laughed off the post-birthday reunion rumours, but we can always dream, can't we? Just seeing them in the same room is enough to make anyone a little giddy. Hopefully Globes host Ricky Gervais will pounce on them, so we can see for ourselves just how amicable their breakup was — or how good their acting skills truly are.And you know who else is giddy? Producers for both awards shows, who are already planning the seating charts and coordinating their respective camera crews to capture some fantastic reaction shots.Pitt isn't Aniston's only ex with whom she remains friendly. Jen and Justin Theroux were together for six years before separating in 2017, but that hasn't stopped them from hanging out; they just celebrated Thanksgiving with all their friends and neither are shy about engaging with the other on social media.Aniston and Pitt began dating in 1998 and were married in July 2000. They announced their separation in January 2005 and their divorce was finalized nine months later. But, again, they're all good. Now, in case you want to set your DVRs ahead of time to witness any potential run-ins, the Golden Globes air on January 5 on CTV, while the SAG Awards air two weeks later, on January 19 on TNT.
