You’d never expect it, but animals actually have some pretty serious camera skills.

They might not get that golden shot the first time, sure, but neither do we. Some humans even spend up to 10 hours a day snapping hundreds of pictures just to get the perfect Facebook profile picture. But the animals you’re about to see can snap photos and record video — all from perspectives you never thought possible.

Just check out this elephant, who uses its trunk as a makeshift selfie stick after swiping someone’s camera. Looks like we just saw the world’s very first elphie!

Just had an article written about my #elphie (elephant selfie, clever I know) in the Daily Mail and the Mirror UK 💁🏼

Monkey business? It must be, because this guy managed to nail the perfect selfie after only a few attempts:

For this next one, there’s a reason they call dogs a man’s best friend. Who else would work this hard to get your best moves on camera?

Not all animals are gifted with the artsy skill though. Sometimes they get a little camera shy, like this poor ol’ kitten:

But other times, they come right in for their close up, like this adorable chimp:

Then there’s the animals that just outshine the rest, like these cats, who managed to film their very own MOVIE. You might want to grab some popcorn for this one:
