McDonald’s Japan just dropped the mic on the age-old sweet or salty debate. It has done so with what it is calling the “McChoco Potato,” a savoury-meets-sweet dish that, for now, will only be available in Japan. Basically, you take McDonald’s salty, thin-and-crisp fries, and you top them with streams of white and milk chocolate. Um, hi, hello!
McDonald’s Japan says that their “latest fry innovation” will debut next week, on January 26th, for a limited time. There’s no word yet on whether the McChoco will make its way to Canada, but we think Ronald should get on it already!

This isn’t the first time a popular dish has been dessert-ified. Remember the dessert pizza from Pizza Hut? Oh, those were the days.
