Awards season is on like Donkey Kong, which means we're treated to amazing red carpet fashion, talented celebs being crowned winners and—bonus!—got a first look at some new celebrity couples that went from being rumoured to the real deal. Yup, the Golden Globes were full of many (many) watercooler moments, but for us it was all about the red carpet love.

Bill Hader and Rachel Bilson

All of the online speculation about this hot new couple was finally validated Sunday night when the Barry star and OC grad confirmed their relationship by stepping out on the red carpet hand-in-hand. They both looked pretty relaxed and comfortable with each other, which makes us feel like their relationship goes back even further than when they were seen grabbing coffee together in Oklahoma two months ago.

Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail

We don’t know that we’ve ever been so excited to see collaborators make a red carpet debut as we were when Michelle Williams and her Fosse/Verdon director Thomas Kail emerged on Sunday night. (Naturally, Williams’ bestie Busy Phillips wasn’t far behind, which makes us ship this couple even more.)Not only are Williams and Kail engaged, but they’re also expecting their first baby together, which we only recently learned. Looks like they really got to know each other on set, huh? It was hard to see le bump underneath Williams’ gorgeous peach gown, but this will be her second kid; she also has a 14-year-old daughter Matilda from her relationship with Heath Ledger.

Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie Chance Roberts

Can we all just agree that Beanie is our new It Girl, but in the most inconspicuous way possible? We love, love, loved her in Booksmart and Lady Bird, and we cannot wait to see her play Monica Lewinsky in the upcoming iteration of American Crime Story. But Sunday night our love for her grew even more when we saw the twinkle in her eye next to her girlfriend Bonnie Chance Roberts on the red carpet.
Of course we’ve all been following Feldstein’s love story with the producer on Instagram, but it was a whole other thing to see it onscreen. We totally get why she’s gone from being a self-admitted “serial killer” of relationships to a true believer. This is what true love looks like, y’all.

And the couple sighting that almost was, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn

Raise your hand if you were super-bummed when Tay dodged the red carpet cameras and snuck into the Globes through some top-secret entrance, robbing many of us the chance to drool at her purr-fect floral frock. (What, we had to get at least one Cats jab in there.)That shrewd move also robbed us of finally seeing her and Joe Alwyn hand-in-hand on the red carpet, although technically they did arrive together through that back door before they split up. Thanks to Twitter, though there was a proximity sighting and we'll take it. [video_embed id='1868114']RELATED: Kaitlyn Dever has a great Golden Globes sore feet hack[/video_embed]
