It’s a tough life out there for models and, for some reason, someone or something decided to makes things just a tad bit harder for ’em during Toronto Fashion Week.

Models at Canadian designer Mikhael Kale’s fashion show kept falling, one after the other, at a particular spot on the runway. Some say the runway was built improperly while others are insisting that water was spilt on the catwalk. Either way, this is how Toronto Fashion Week opened up and we can’t help but watch ’em slip and slide one-by-one.

Honestly, we’re surprised (and happy) that no one was seriously injured. We know not following the director’s exact instructions is frowned upon in the fashion world but, damn. We wish the models who saw what was awaiting them just shifted slightly to the left of the point of impact. Instead they walked on, knowing what was coming, but unable to do anything–like lemmings off a cliff. Sigh.
