It’s small, it’s adorable, and it’s just been stamped by customs. A German couple decided to make a DIY passport for their fetus after finding out that they’re going to be parents, days before a trip to Japan–and the passport’s incredibly adorable. You won’t be able to hold back your smile when you see the tiny, functional passport for a soon-to-be baby.

The Creator of Itchy Feet comics, Malachi Rempen, created something even better than a comic book when he made his wife’s fetus an itty-bitty passport.“I just sliced up my old, expired German one and glued some pages together. I used the very first ultrasound image as the passport photo,” said Malachi.

The name on the mini passport’s “Beany Baby,” which, of course, makes us melt even more because of how cute it is. If this project couldn’t get even more adorable than it already is, the couple managed to get the customs worker to stamp the fetus’ passport too (which takes some guts to even ask for, if you ask us). The rest of the passport pages are a work in progress and the couple will be filling its pages with stamps from different tourist sights and events until the baby’s born.

Best pre-baby book ever.
