When you’re having a baby, a lot of your mental space is taken up by potential names that would suit your baby best. It’s also normal to think about what you’d name your kid if you were to have one in the future, and many of those names are usually ones that mean something special to you or your family.

Married couple, Jade and Joshua, had a hard time having a child which is why they promised themselves that whenever the baby came, their name would be extra special. When it finally happened for them, they decided to go with the name “Disney”. Yes, the happiest place on Earth.

‘Friends and family love the name, and I do too,” Jade told Metro UK.  “I just really like the name Disney.”

Like any other proud, social mom would, she announced her baby’s name on a parenting Facebook page…and, well, she was mocked.

The original post asked moms to enter their child’s name in a thread, where they could be rated with emojis. Jade’s submission was met with laughing and crying emoji faces.

Jade stood up for her baby proudly saying the name fits her daughter’s personality and is confident that as long as they like the name, no one else should have a say in their decision.

In cases like these, it may be hard to watch a friend or family member pick such an extravagant name and not say anything. Would you step in to warn someone what people might say or think about the name? Or would you mind your own business and celebrate whatever name they come up with?
