If you’ve been alive at all during the past two decades, you’ve heard of a little franchise called Harry Potter. And if you’re like most of us, you’ve probably read the books, seen the movies, waited for your Hogwarts letter, and tried to summon objects with the wand from your Halloween costume (no judgement). Maybe you’ve even joined one of those muggle Quidditch leagues. Well, sorry to break it to you, but these Potter fans have just put every other Potterhead to shame.

A group of skydivers from Colombia have played ACTUAL REAL QUIDDITCH. That’s right, friends, with flying and everything. The divers brought out an inflatable ball, a hoop for the goal and broomsticks to ride on. Granted, there were no enchanted balls trying to knock players from their brooms and said brooms weren’t really flying, but this is probably the closest we muggles are ever going to get.

As it turns out, this whole stunt was actually an ad for a Colombian telecommunications company called ETB to promote the wonders of YouTube. We think they just won the advertising game.

The video looks like a scene straight out of Philosopher’s Stone with the divers wearing real Quidditch padding and equipment just like that in the film. Our little Harry-Potter-loving hearts can’t take it!

So now that we’ve figured out how to play Quidditch while skydiving, we’re expecting real flying broomsticks by 2020. And maybe some way to use that summoning charm so we can find our keys and get a snack from the couch. Come on, science!
