It’s almost time for the most dramatic recoupling in Love Island (Monday-Sunday, 9pm on CTV) history, but before hearts are broken, striped shirts are packed and bikinis that never got to touch chlorine are returned with their tags still attached, the original 10 Islanders must decide whether they’re staying with their current partner or moving on with someone new. The most important question is the one no one is asking – who gets Gus if Connor and Mackenzie break up?

CARRINGTON AND KIERSTAN

Kierstan is planning to stand by her man, even though her man made it clear before he left for Casa Amor that things were over between the pair. At least Caleb is still pulling for Kierstan to be Carrington’s pick, which counts as reason 45,985 why we all love Caleb. As for Carrington, it’s unlikely his head will be able to fit through the giant tunnel leading to the Villa when he returns. Laurel and Mercades are taking turns telling Carrington how wonderful he is, which he is loving. Speaking of love, we are not loving whoever gave Carrington the book on Love Languages, since he only read the first five pages and has talked about it nonstop as if was the focus of his Masters thesis. We are also not loving Mercades’ bathroom conversation with Laurel, during which she recited every line in the Mean Girl handbook to make Laurel feel like she had no chance with Carrington. Mercades may be all about keeping it “real,” but real cruel is unnecessary.

MOIRA AND CALVIN

Calvin has to decide whether two conversations and one surprisingly decent salsa dance with Sher is enough to leave his relationship with Moira. TBD.As for Moira, she has to decide whether to leave Calvin, who has been lukewarm with her, and pick Aaron, who makes cake for breakfast and tells her that he loves her… in the sense that she’s a great person. Still counts! In the words of the great Rihanna, “Cake cake cake cake cake.”

JUSTINE AND CALEB

Caleb is so focused on Justine that instead of getting to know the new women, he’s coaching them on their relationships. Justine is so focused on Caleb that she doesn’t care if he kissed another woman before going back to her, believing that proves she’s the one for him. We are so focused on these two staying together that we may have to sprinkle holy water on our TV set before Sunday’s recoupling.

CELY AND JOHNNY

Cely spent the episode crying on the outside because she is worried that Johnny did exactly what Johnny has done in Casa Amor. Johnny spent the episode crying on the inside for doing what he did at Casa Amor. Cely told Justine that she won’t be able to forgive Johnny if he pursued someone else but talking to your friend about leaving your new hot boyfriend and leaving your new hot boyfriend are two very different things. MACKENZIE AND CONNOR

Connor is all in with Mackenzie and is ready to reunite Gus with his mother. On Thursday, it looked like Mackenzie wasn’t having any trouble with her decision to pick Jalen, but that changed on Friday night when Jalen said that he didn’t want things to go too fast between them. It now looks like viewers are about to see how fast things go between Jalen and his suitcase as he wheels out of the villa.Watch new episodes of Love Island Monday-Sunday, 9pET on CTV.[video_embed id='2030335']BEFORE YOU GO: Cat attempts daily hilarious attack on mail carrier [/video_embed]
