Our faces are beautiful things, but sometimes we’re not oh-so-confident because of a few “problem” areas. We’re talking under-eye circles, dark spots, acne and even sunburn. Now, most of the time we’re totally OK with blemishes (Hey, no one’s perfect right?) However, when there’s an important meeting coming up or a fancy party we’re about to head to, we absolutely dread heading out the door knowing that those flaws are basically screaming out, “look at me!” to anyone we make eye contact with.

Much of the makeup we wear–be it concealer and/or foundation–does an OK job with “covering” them up, but throughout the day they start to cake and give our skin that much hated greying effect. You know, when you look in the mirror at 2:30 p.m. and your skin looks like it’s peeling off and turning to dust? Yeah, that.

For the better part of this year, makeup brands have been coming out with “colour correctors,” makeup that neutralizes imperfections before we put on concealer and foundation. The theory is that matching up opposite colours, using the colour wheel, help to hide flaws on the skin. Have redish rosacea and acne? Dab on some green cream. Dark bluish under-eye circles and veins getting you down? Orange should do the trick. Dark spots making you ill? Pop some yellow on that. Now, if you’ve noticed, that’s a lot of colour and products you’d have to buy, but makeup brand Stila has made it all much easier with their new Correct & Perfect All-In-One Color Correcting Palette.

Yep, all the colours are right there for you in one super cute package. The best part is that you get to choose how much coverage you want. Put just a dab or pat it on, either way your skin’s about to look flawless once you’re done.
