Ah, the holidays. The time for mistletoe, eggnog, cozying up around the fireplace and generally being merry. But what they don’t advertise on all those Hallmark Christmas cards is the chill —  nay, dryness — in the air that typically makes your skin, throat and nose suffer. In the words of Ariana Grande, ‘thank u, next.’  No one wants a parched environment interfering with their respiratory system.

Enter: the bulb humidifier. Not only does this flashy little ‘light bulb’ deliver “soft swirls of cool mist,” but it does so quietly. It’s whisper quiet, in fact. And not only that, it cycles through seven different colours (for colour commitment-phobes), lights up as just one colour (for those who have a clear favourite) or uses no light at all (for purists, who want straight-up humidifying only).

Dry skin? No way. This lil’ baby will keep you “supple and shiny.” And with a 4.7/5 star review, you know it’ll be good. It is worth noting though that the bulb’s small size means it’s not meant for big spaces. Keeping your entire home’s air moisture-filled isn’t gonna happen. But if you need a desk or workspace companion that also alleviates the perils of dry air (chapped lips, dry skin and nose bleeds), and that probably makes things smell a little bit fresher, look no further.
