Choosing the song for your first dance at your wedding can be stressful, and so can finding the perfect song for a bride to dance to with her daddy. So many choices! So instead of one, why not 10? Whoa, says every father with lower back pain and knees that click when going up and down stairs. But that’s exactly what a Utah bride and her dad did during her wedding reception.

Mikayla Ellison Phillips and her father, Nathan Ellison, upped the father-daughter dance game by performing a nearly four-minute dance mashup that started like every other father-daughter dance. “Butterfly Kisses” is slow and staid, just like you’d expect it to be but it quickly evolved into a medley of songs that you can’t help but tap your toes along to.

Phillips has been dancing all her life, even meeting her husband as dance partners on the International Folk Dance Ensemble at Brigham Young University. But she told ABC News that her father, who works in sales and computer technology, never trained (hard to believe based on his awesome moves). But because she’s his only daughter, this was his chance to shine — and shine he did. Maybe even stealing the show here.

Mikayla and Nathan spent only the week before the wedding choreographing and practicing the different routines but you’d never know it because how good are they? From “U Can’t Touch This” and “Shake Your Groove Thing” to Bollywood and The Carlton, they stepped it up. Sorry, every other dad out there but game on.
