Raccoons cause a lost of havoc in many parts of Canada, what with their opposable thumbs and all. They know how to open garbage cans, create little hangouts under people’s patios and make the most excruciating noises at night. But, we’ve found one raccoon that won’t annoy the hell out of you:

This position is very necessary to help with digestion. Lol. #raccoon #rescue #bahamas #foodcoma #toocute @theellenshow

Her name is Pumpkin the Raccoon.

This little bundle of joy fell out of a tree in Nassau, Bahamas, and broke her back in Rosie Kemp’s backyard. Kemp and her daughter Laura Young took the baby in after the raccoon’s mother didn’t return and the Bahamas Humane Society said they couldn’t care for the orphaned animal either, according to CBS News.

It’s legal to have raccoons as pets in the Bahamas, so the Kent family–including their two dogs, Toffee and Oreo (clearly  there’s a naming trend here)–have embraced Pumpkin with open arms.

A month after the accident, they’ve nursed her back to health and Pumpkin’s bond with her dog siblings is hard to ignore. (Click the image below to watch her play fight with Toffee, it’s so adorable.)

Here she is just chillin’ planning world domination with her trusty pal in tow:

And here she is actually chillin’ with her bud:

Ah, who knew ‘raccoon kisses’ were a thing?!

And raccoon massage,s too?

Your urge to run out onto the street and grab the first raccoon you spot is probably at an all-time high right now so be warned: Unfortunately, you cannot legally own a raccoon in Canada, so please don’t try and get a Pumpkin of your own. Sorry!
