Well someone must be happy it’s Christmas.

A family in Texas didn’t just deck the halls, they created a massive Frozen-themed light show that will make you feel more festive than Santa Claus. The Storms family in Austin have become a bit of a legend in their neighbourhood, because ever since 2010 local residents have been flocking to their home to check out a Christmas light show set to popular music. This year, the song of choice was “Let It Go” from the hit Disney film.

“We have an awesome neighborhood,” John Storms told the Huffington Post in an email. “When we do the lights to music we have the neighbors, family, friends come out with their camp chairs and we all sit in the street and watch the show. Its a great little neighborhood activity.”

John admits it can be a tough job, saying the family sometimes starts preparing as early as February to get everything done. But the challenge, for him, is all part of the fun. And thanks to LED lights and an energy-efficient laptop, the electrical costs associated with running the show only cost about $6 for the entire season.

So kick back, grab some eggnog, and check out a light show you won’t forget. And if that’s not enough, we have even more holly-jolly displays below.
