It’s a common fear: showing up to a party, wearing an identical outfit. And some people can play it off real cool, but others will often reach for a sweater, any sweater. Unfortunately for celebrities and fashion magazines, it’s not possible to cover up such a mistake. Especially when the mistake or oversight happens to be plastered on the cover of a magazine.

And that’s exactly what has happened with one dress – specifically, a floral-embellished pastel pink dress from Prada’s fall 2015 collection, and it’s pastel blue cousin.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Katy Perry actually wore the identical dresses (one in blue, one in pink) on two separate September issues, which admittedly was poor planning on someone’s part. Good for Prada, yes, but for the fashion magazines? Probably not.

There have even been reports that this image inside W’s September issue of Gigi Hadid wearing the same pink dress as Katy Perry was originally intended to be on the cover. That would have made three covers in the month of September, all with the same dress.

And you might suspect that that would be enough, and that there would be no other coincidences. Except, you’d be wrong, because even Vogue had the pink version in its September issue. And this time, it was sported by Cara Delevingne. But that didn’t stop Teen Vogue from using the exact same look on model Willow Hand, who originally walked in the Prada fall 2015 show.

And it’s a gorgeous dress, sure, but perhaps there are other equally gorgeous dresses worthy of a magazine cover, right? And yet, it’s this very Prada collection that appears to be getting the most spotlight. Prada fall 2015 can also be seen on Kirsten Dunst for Town and Country in August and on Rita Ora for Marie Claire in July. And if that still isn’t enough for you, it’s on model Natasha Poly for Glamour’s September 2015 cover, and on Lily Donaldson for Elle UK’s August cover. Have we reached peak Prada?
