If you’ve been to more than just a handful of little league games, you’ve likely seen the classic raging parent by now.
Every kids’ team usually has at least one. They’re the people who can’t seem to remember that what’s going on in the field is a game, played by children. Literally nothing is a stake. But still, every time their boy or girl doesn’t knock it out of the park like the next José Bautista, they fly into a rage, blaming everyone from the umpire to the field itself.
No pressure or anything though, kids. Have fun.
Needless to say, the game would be more enjoyable for all if certain parents didn’t behave this way. That’s probably why officials with the Pleasanton Little League in the US put up this sign for everyone to see:
In other words, CALM DOWN, people. And let the kids have their fun.
