Listen, friend, it’s time we sat down and talked. You have a problem. Yes, you have an addiction, and it’s got to stop. No, it’s not drugs or booze or anything even illicit. What is it, you ask?

Well, my friend, you are addicted to sugar. Oh-so-delicious sugar.

Before you baulk and scream, “NO, NOT ME!” just think about your day. How many packets of sugar did you crack into your coffee? What time was it when you pummelled your first pop? And the second? Did you glaze over the glucose-fructose on the nutrition label and reassure yourself it’s not really so bad?

Not so innocent now, are we?

So, this is an intervention: It’s time to stop. It’s time to come clean. Put down the doughnut and pick up the produce. Detoxes might not be fun, but the three brave individuals in the video above gave it up for a month and look at what happened to them.

You can do it. We believe in you.
