When you’ve got your heart set on one thing, just one thing, there’s only one thing you can do: roll up your sleeves, get crafty and go all out for it. Which is exactly what Reddit user mmmel‘s daughter did. Her kid’s Christmas list consisted of one thing. Well, technically, 16 things but let’s just say she had a one-track mind when making her request.

Do you know what she really, really, really wants for Christmas this year? We’ll give you one guess.

She writes “cat” in 16 languages, including English, French, German and Russian, though another Redditor pointed out that she actually wrote “cat person” in Korean, and that would be funny if Santa hooked her up with one of those. Some others joked that they should get her a dog but that would be just plain mean.

Mmmel explained that the family already has two dogs but her daughter is clearly missing some feline companionship. She added that the family “lost both of our cats, she really misses them,” and mentioned that her husband will leave if a cat comes calling. But mmmel, like any good mother, shrugged it off.

“Looks like we are getting a cat. Less work than the husband.”

Meow! Mmmel’s daughter’s creativity and determination is hard to come by these days so despite Daddy’s wishes, we can’t imagine she’s not going to get one. Come on, Santa, do her a solid!
