Some people are worried about how their kids are going to react to a new sibling. We think Sarah Bromley of North Lincolnshire, England can cross that particular concern off her list.

We don’t know if it’s his adorable accent or the absolute joy with which he receives the news, but five-year-old Ethan’s reaction to the news that he will be a big brother is the best thing we’ve seen all week. And maybe ever.

After his mother hands him a picture from her recent ultrasound young Ethan takes a minute to clue in.

‘What’s that? What is that? That’s me!”

Well, no. His mom informs him he’s going to be a big brother.

“Is that your baby? Is it comin’ then? Is it in your belly!?”

And it just gets better from there as the big brother-to-be gets more and more excited.

Our favourite part has to be, ‘He can sleep in my bed [adorable pause] if you want.’ (We admit, we rewound that bit a few times.)

“He wants a little sister, but he knows that he can’t choose,” his mom tells the local Scunthorpe Telegraph.

We’re pretty sure he’s going to be a great brother either way.

You can watch the full-version of the happiness unfolding below:
