This is the inspiring tale of how one Twitter user’s determination, resiliance and conviction allowed her to successfully manifest reality and get the man of her dreams, Michael B. Jordan.

Over the weekend, London-based writer Bolu Babalola tweeted a (poorly photoshopped) picture of herself with “this guy [she met] on holiday this summer.” Like so many “missed connections” before her, she had taken to Twitter to find the man with whom she had a “great connection” but had lost contact. Twitter, always eager to lend a hand when it comes to affairs of the heart, did their best to track down the mystery man.

Unfortunately, there were also some nay-sayers out there who, for some reason, thought that Babalola was joking. She wasn’t having any of it though — a lesson in sticking to your guns and ignoring the haters.

Now, this could have just been a cute little Twitter story about a girl and her viral tweet, but NO. On Tuesday, Babalola shared that she was going to be attending a Creed 2 Q&A in London where Michael B. Jordan was scheduled to be answering questions. Was this her moment?

Thankfully, Babalola kept the eager Twitterverse informed of every development and WOW, this woman is our new hero. If we had but a tenth of her fearlessness, we would be set for life.

Since Babalola might have proven herself to be an unreliable narrator with the whole photoshop thing, another Q&A attendee caught the whole interaction on video (for all you non-believers). Babalola began by asking her movie-related question about the juxtaposition between brutal violence and tender romance in the film and then asked Jordan if he had seen the post that “kinda went viral,” adding “I’m the girl, sorry about that.”

“Why are you apologizing?” Jordan responded. “We got to get a real picture now.”

That, my friends, is the sound of dreams coming true.

After the ordeal, when she had had time to regain her composure, Babalola released her official statement in the form of Beyoncé gif — the only appropriate way to respond.

And then, because she had everyone’s attention anyway, Babalola proceeded to use her new-found fame to tout her own professional accomplishments. You go, girl!

Such an inspiration. We look forward to the inevitable film adaptation.
