When I gave my mom a Ninja Foodi — the pressure cooker that crisps — we didn’t really know what to expect. To be completely honest, while growing up, cooking wasn’t exactly her forte. She, much like me, much preferred the eating part of meal-making.
Lately though, she’s been a little more adventurous in the kitchen, so this multi-function cooker seemed like the perfect product to inspire some culinary creativity. A few days passed with no news of the cooker, until one fateful evening I received a very impressive text: a photo of perfectly crisp and juicy looking pork ribs. “I could not cook ribs without this machine,” she wrote. Yep, it worked.

The easiest Vegan Chili with Cornbread Crumble is served! I am beyond excited about this recipe, because it’s hearty, warming and the kind of meal that will make omnivores say “I can’t believe it’s vegan!” The magic of this dish is that it’s made in ONE POT in the Ninja Foodi from @NinjaKitchen, which is a pressure cooker that can also make things crispy thanks to its TenderCrisp™ Technology (seriously, I am very, very enamored with this device). First you use the pressure cooking setting to whip up the chili in just 15 minutes (hello!), then you bake the cornbread crumble right on top of the chili- and you’ve got dinner on the table in under an hour and all in one pot! The super easy recipe is now up on my blog! And follow the link in my bio to check out the #NinjaFoodi and see why I’m so into this device! #partner #sponsoredbyninja #ninjainthekitchen
So what exactly does this magical cooking pot do? Well, it’s a pressure cooker — cooking 70 per cent faster than traditional slow cooked, braised or low-simmer recipes; it’s an air fryer, using 75 per cent less fat than traditional frying methods; and it’s a TenderCrisper, meaning it locks in juices and finishes with a crisp. It even dehydrates to create snacks like banana, kale or vegetable chips.
From mac and cheese to ribs to ‘roasted’ Brussels sprouts, there hasn’t been a dish she’s tried that’s been unsuccessful. And for the more ambitious, it can even cook a 7-lb chicken. Her one complaint? It sets off the smoke alarm if she cooks too long, but it’s easily fixed with a fan. The Foodi is easy to use, fairly easy to clean and has got a ton of recipes online. So if you’re looking for your next all-in-one cooking kitchen gadget, you’ve probably found it.

Happy Tuesday! I love playing with new kitchen appliances and gadgets so I couldn’t wait to unbox my new Ninja Foodi from @ninjakitchen and whip up these crispy brussels sprouts! Foodi is a pressure cooker and air fryer that crisps using TenderCrisp Technology! It has a pressure lid for pressure cooking and a crisping lid for crisping. These brussels sprouts were washed, halved, tossed in olive oil, salt and pepper, and cooked using the Air Crisp function in Foodi. The cooking took under 15min! No more roasting in the oven for 30+ min for making brussels sprouts 🤨🤨🤨 They’re the perfect side for my chicken lunch, which I also paired with some purple sweet potato discs. I also cooked the chicken and sweet potato in Ninja Foodi – 2min in the pressure cooker followed by 10min broiling in the crisping lid to get a perfectly tender-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside finish.
