Fans of singer songwriter Sia not know exactly what the secretive artist looks like, but we’re pretty sure she’s not a bird. Almost positive.

In a video that has gone viral since being posted on Sunday, a parrot is heard performing Sia’s 2014 track “Chandelier.” He’s a bit pitchy, but overall not too bad.

The clip has been viewed over 1.4 million times, which seemed impressive until we saw that the official video for Sia’s “Chandelier” featuring dancer Maddie Ziegler has hit 1.4 billion views. Take that, bird brain.

While Sia’s track “Elastic Heart” and its accompanying video with Ziegler and actor Shia LaBeouf performing in a cage seems like a more fitting tune for the bird, we applaud his impressive vocal range and aptitude for remembering lyrics.

This parrot isn’t the first animal to try its hand at pop stardom. There’s also the goat that loves Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

These Linkin Park-singing dogs.

And this cat who loves old time rock and roll.

Plus, can’t forget the holiday season.

We’re starting to see where the inspiration for the upcoming animated film Sing originated.
