Peculiar? Check.

Colourful? Yep.

Idiosyncrasies everywhere? You know it.

Movie director Wes Anderson has a very distinctive style (you know it if you’ve seen any of his films), and now you can actually live it in real life! If you happen to visit Milan, Italy, you can step into a café that feels like one of Anderson’s movie sets.

Bar Luce

Called Bar Luce, it opened to the public on May 9. Anderson lent his stylings to the café “to make it a bar I would want to spend my own non-fictional afternoons in.”

Of course, Bar Luce features two pinball machines, one based on Anderson’s short film Castello Cavalcanti, and the other on The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. The wallpaper looks like it was ripped off the walls of The Grand Budapest Hotel.

We can’t wait to go there and hang out with Jason Schwartzman, who’s surely in that booth in the corner sipping an oolong tea.
