Just when we thought Thomas Markle‘s interview on Good Morning Britain was the last we would hear from, or about, him, comes news that Duchess Meghan‘s dad’s feelings are hurt once again. This time, it comes a week after Father’s Day, and since he didn’t get a card from Meghan, he’s wondering–out loud–if he’s jeopardized everything.

According to The Sun, Thomas fears he’s “being frozen out” by Kensington Palace, since his recent on-air interview in which he discussed politics, how Prince Harry asked for his permission to propose, and how Meghan’s always wanted children.

“There has been nothing from the palaces, which he is surprised about,” a source told The Sun. “He just hopes the interview hasn’t affected things. He wanted to discuss travelling to the UK, or the couple visiting him. He still hasn’t met Harry, and is desperate for it to happen.”

OK, hear us out. Yes, Thomas needs to stop flapping his gums, but he’s now connected to one of the wealthiest families in the world. Perhaps if the Palace had reached out to Thomas after the wedding (hell, they should’ve reached out months before May 19), the TV interview never would’ve even happened. But it did. And it’s out there, forever and ever. As is Thomas.

Kensington Palace, which declined to comment on this latest Thomas story, needs to get a handle on this and get in front of Meghan’s dad NOW. How they haven’t gotten him to sign all kinds of NDAs and set him up with a house and a “job” is beyond us. It’s the aristocratic way. They’ve seen Downton Abbey, right?

The Sun‘s insider claims Thomas is also a hurt bunny because Meghan didn’t send him a Father’s Day card. Who knows whether or not Meghan even makes that an annual thing, but she could’ve easily gotten one of her assistants to grab a card from Tesco and send it off. Voila! Though, at this point, who knows where they’d mail it to.

All that said, though, shut up Thomas. If he’s really hoping the interview hasn’t affected anything, then he’s obviously aware that he said too much. Just stop already.
