Remember that adorable Alberta couple who got the shock of their lives when they learned that they were pregnant with identical girl quadruplets? Well, the little babies are now out, ready to explore the world, while the parents are excited and anxious to take them home.
Tim and Bethani Webb’s naturally conceived quadruplets were born via caesarian section at Edmonton’s Royal Alexandra Hospital on May 6. The girls, named Emily, Grace, McKayla and Abigail, all weighed between three pounds and four pounds one ounce and are healthy as can be.
“It felt as if it was a magic show because it was one baby and then two babies and then three babies and then four babies,” Tim Webb said in a press conference (video above). “It was kind of a whole surreal thing.”
While the kiddos already have their own distinct personalities, the Webb’s admit that they really can’t tell them apart and neither can their grandparents. And it’s not surprising, considering the family has four identical girls on their hands.
The babies will be staying at the hospital for four weeks before they can go home for the first time. And the couple’s hometown has banded together and pledged to help out the young family for the foreseeable future.
