Like everyone else on the planet, we can only assume that your life is busy. There never seem to be enough hours in the day to finish everything that needs to be done. Well, thankfully we all live in 2017 where there are a bunch of nifty gadgets and apps that can make things a little easier on us. Here are a few of the wonderful things science has come up with to help you out.
Who actually has time for vacuuming? Either we’re not doing it enough or we’re not doing it at all. Outsource that task to a tiny robot friend who can take care of all the vacuuming on its own. This Dyson robot vacuum is a little on the pricey side, but if you’ve decided to invest in a self-operating vacuum, you might as well get the best of the best. The Dyson advertises twice the suction of other vacuums and is smart enough to know when it needs a charge and return to its dock. It’s also programmable so you can set how often you want the vacuuming done and forget about it. (Music doc not included).
If you haven’t heard of the tile, you are missing out. Did you know that the average person spends two weeks of their lives searching for the TV remote? Now just imagine how much time you spend searching for your phone. The Tile allows you to track and call anything you attach it to so you can spend that searching time doing more productive things. Hook a tile to your keys, your phone, your laptop or anything else and never lose it again (as long as you can find one of those things). Plus, they work in reverse too so you can call your phone with your keys and your keys with your phone.
How many apps do you think you have on your phone? Answer: too many to keep track of. Eliminate all that time it takes you to do similar things in separate apps by syncing them all with IFTTT. You can set the app to automatically save photos you’re tagged in online, save new iOS contacts to your Google contacts, add songs from videos you like on YouTube to your Spotify and more. It can sync things in ways you’ve never even thought of. This is certainly the one app to rule them all.
Have you ever been waiting for a late friend and wished they could send you their exact location and ETA? Now you can (assuming they let you). With Glympse, your friend can send you a link so you can track how far they are from you. A little creepy, yes, but super convenient if you need to get a little more cleaning done or want to know if you have time to run to the store before they arrive. It’s also a great way to keep track of your kids when they go somewhere alone. Have them send you their link when they leave for school and watch them all the way to their destination.
