“Historically, this event is about the future of programming; this year, it’s about the future of our industry—a future where we can meet audiences wherever they are, with the stories that move them. As the old saying goes... when life hands you Lemon, have her host the Upfront!” said NBC Universal’s boss of advertising and partnerships, Linda Yaccarino in the release.“We’re all happy to have this excuse to (remotely) work together again for NBC,” creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock added. “To quote Kenneth the Page, there are only two things we love in this world, television and everyone.”[video_embed id='1978532']RELATED: Find out how Warner Bros. is going virtual for their next big fan experience [/video_embed]Throughout the special, fans can also expect guest appearances from other NBC Universal talent on networks like USA, Telemundo, Syfy, E! and Bravo. This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that NBC is giving people the programming they deserve. At the end of April, the network broke out the waffles and celebrated Galentine’s Day (10 months) early by reuniting the cast of Parks and Recreation for a feel-good special to give viewers hope during the coronavirus pandemic. At this point, given NBC’s history with reuniting everyone’s favourite shows during their time of need, fans should probably reignite those campaigns for The Office, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and maybe even Blossom, too.[video_embed id='1977548']BEFORE YOU GO: Friends reunited after isolation perform impressive dance routine [/video_embed]Me, celebrating tonight at the news of #OneMore30Rock @30RockThank you guys.
