Looks like someone just broke up with Tinder, and Tinder isn’t taking the breakup very well. Not according to our jealous ex-girlfriends and boyfriends standards, anyhow. The dating app went on something of a one-sided Twitter tirade against Vanity Fair recently, and things got a little awkward.

Either some PR person or an intern handling the Tinder Twitter account didn’t like this story that Vanity Fair published recently, showcasing many of the reasons why those in the dating world should be very, very scared. Rather than ignoring the article by swiping left, Tinder went all the way right. And somehow, even North Korea got involved. Let’s take a look, shall we?

That probably would have been response enough, right? Guess not, because the gloves come off.

Shouldn’t that be #TinderGeneration? Anyhow, it goes on like this for a few more tweets (seven or eight more of them, in fact), before turning global.

Um… what?

Sure, but what does that have to do with anything?

All together now: awwwwwww.

Then THIS keeps going for a while, before the account finally wrapped with:

There were 31 tweets in all that were fired out in all. Meanwhile, Vanity Fair stayed silent and writer Nancy Jo Sales seemed to benefit from all of the extra publicity.

Stay classy, Tinder.
