Usually when a wax figure makes headlines, it’s because it’s unbelievably bad. We’re pretty sure all wax sculptures aren’t as terrible as the Beyonce, Justin Trudeau and (shudder) Lady Gaga ones, but you don’t often hear about the ones that aren’t the stuff of nightmares. That is, until Madame Tussauds’ new Tom Hardy figure. The London wax museum’s latest addition is so life-like it could almost be the real actor sitting there. In fact, save for the fact that he’s non-responsive, you might have a hard time proving he’s not a living human.
Madame Tussaud’s in London now have a wax figure of Tom! 💘 pic.twitter.com/qt0zRTVsjw

Not only is this new figure super detailed, Tom has a “warm, soft torso” and an actual beating heart. Visitors are even permitted to sit next to him on his red leather couch and “cuddle” the figure. Well, that’s one way to spend your Valentine’s Day.
We’ve got some questions though. Is his torso the only part that feels like a body? Isn’t it weird that his extremities are cold and waxy while his chest is warm and pulsing? Does no one think it’s gross and unsanitary to cuddle with a figure that’s been touched by hundreds, if not thousands, of other people before you? Most importantly: how does Tom Hardy feel about all of this?
People had mixed reactions to the hyper-realistic rendering of Mr. Hardy. While some might enjoy a good cuddle, others were a little distressed at the thought.
A wax work of Tom Hardy…with a heart beat & warm torso has been made!!!!!!!! Can I BUY IT 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
