We’d love to blame Kate Middleton‘s enviably luscious locks on the hormones from her third pregnancy, but the truth is that the Duchess of Cambridge has always had gorgeous hair. It’s one of the millions of things we covet about her, including her impeccable fashion sense and her adorable children.

So we have to admit that we feel just a teensy bit better about ourselves knowing that it takes a whole arsenal of products and tools to get Middleton’s tresses looking as perfect as they do, especially when she’s out on the road touring countries and meeting her adoring fans.

What products and tools does that arsenal include, you ask? Up until now that’s remained a mystery, but thanks to a snap from Middleton’s stylist Amanda Cook Tucker, fans now have an insider’s perspective on the official royal hair-care lineup. And it includes a whopping 13 brushes, a handful of combs, two hair dryers and a slew of other products to boot.

Tucker snapped a private Instagram photo of all the loot she’s taking to keep Middleton’s hair looking picture-perfect on the upcoming royal visit to Norway and Sweden, and that post has obviously since gone viral after one eagle-eyed follower shared it for the larger masses. After all, if there’s anything we love more than a story about the Royals, it’s a story concerning the Royals and how the sausage is made.

Here are all the tools Kate Middleton's hair stylist uses to make her look amazing

To be fair, our own hairdressers usually use way more product on our hair than we do too, and we don’t have to do things like play hockey or take a ski class in our third trimester for a photo opp. But we’d also be lying if we said we weren’t thinking of investing in some of those products, like the Elnett hairspray, the Kiehl’s Crème with Silk Groom, or the Charles Worthington: Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse. We also feel like we should up our hairbrush game with a new teasing brush, curling brush or a tail comb to create sharper parts in our up-dos.

Of course having naturally gorgeous hair doesn’t hurt either, and it’s clear that Tucker has a great canvas to work with. Now if only we knew what exactly went into maintaining Prince William‘s hairdo, huh?

Oh the price of royalty.
