Remember that time Larry David told us all that there would be a Seinfeld reunion on the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm? And we all went nuts wondering what the gang had been up to since the finale, in which they were all incarcerated for essentially being terrible people?

Well we’re not saying the reunion wasn’t all that — after all, the main players did all return for another romp on the old set. But it’s not like we actually got a new episode of the show or anything, just a meta reunion that essentially caught us up on where the actors were in life.

Or did we get a new episode?

Technically, yes, as Topher Grace points out. The former That 70s Show star is obviously a big Seinfeld fan, because he took the time to stitch together every single one of the Seinfeld scenes from that seventh season of Larry David’s follow-up show. From audition scenes and read-throughs to rehearsals and scripts, it’s pretty much all there.

The end result is a nine-minute offering that’s “more like a radio play,” but catches us all up on what the gang would have gone through had we had a whole episode. From George striking it rich on an app only to lose it all to Bernie Madoff, to Elaine having a kid via Jerry’s donation, there are some pretty meaty plot lines in there.

Plus it’s got everything any die-hard fan could want. Scenes in Jerry’s apartment and at Monk’s diner. The bouncy transitional music from scene-to-scene. Kramer’s memorable entrance into Jerry’s abode.

Sure, it’s not the “real thing,” but for fans who are sorely missing the series, it’s a pretty freaking fantastic alternative.

Check it out for yourself, and be sure to catch up on any other episode you’d like on CraveTV.

Seinfeld ReunionI edited all the Seinfeld scenes from Curb season 7 into one episode. It’s more like a radio play, but if you sew together all the dialogue from audition scenes, read-throughs and rehearsals together… a 9 minute hint at what the plot of a reunion might have been.
