Better crack open some books, Kansas. You just got schooled.
The Kansas City Library recently tweeted out an image showing books stacked on top of each other, where the titles on the spines spelled out an insult to the Blue Jays.

We’ll admit it’s a clever idea. A nice literary jab at Canada’s favourite baseball team. Well done and all that, Kansas. But as the New York Times recently learned the hard way, when you hit Canada, we hit back. Hard.
So, um, could you remind us what happened in last night’s game, Kansas? Oh yeah, you lost. Sorry about that.
The American city then volleyed back a second (very sportsmanly) tweet, but we couldn’t help but see it as a little bit weaker than the first.

Forever blue, eh? Thanks for the support, Kansas. We get that we share the same team colour and all, but come on. Certainly paved the way for Toronto to come in and score yet again:
Can you say “bat flip”? Because the Toronto Public Library just knocked it out of the park.
Go Blue Jays!
