Tracy Morgan‘s comeback is in full effect, and he’s getting ready to make us laugh again on the big screen.
Following his touching-yet-hilarious appearance at the Emmys Sunday night, it has been revealed that the SNL and 30 Rock alum is in the process of locking down his first movie role since his tragic car crash last summer.
According to sources, Morgan is set to star in a new comedy flick called Fist Fight, alongside Ice Cube and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Charlie Day.
The film, which begins production next month, will be directed by It’s Always Sunny director Richie Keen and will revolve around Cube and Day as ridiculous high school teachers, with Morgan as the school’s coach.
But if you’re like us and just can’t wait to see Morgan back in action, we can all take solace in knowing that he’ll be hosting SNL on October 17. He’ll most definitely be bringing the hilarity.
We’re so happy you’re back, Tracy!
