From acting as a polarizing boss on reality TV, sending the Twitter-verse into frequent frenzies and, for the last three years, acting as the current POTUS, Donald Trump is no stranger to the news circuit. Of course, political (and celebrity) status of his nature is rarely achieved without controversy and, in Trump’s case, his presidency has seen no shortage of resistance, scandal and worldwide commentary. Also, a lot of tweets. So, so many tweets. Tweets that — coming from the president himself at odd hours of the day — can make the modern political climate feel like the Twilight Zone.

Earlier today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced an “official” impeachment effort after reports that the president withheld aid to Ukraine while he was pressing the country to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

While we wait to see how this all unfolds, Trump isn’t the only person being vocal about the impeachment inquiry. In fact, some of Trump’s famous foes in Hollywood are chiming in.

Chrissy Teigen, better known as “John Legend’s filthy mouthed wife” by anyone who has followed along the very public, very recent feud between the famous pair and Trump, crafted the perfect response:

She later followed up with:

Trump might have Chrissy blocked on the platform, but that won’t stop the Twitter one-liner legend from giving her two-cents. After all, #ImpeachTrump is currently trending on Twitter.

Rosie O’Donnell certainly wasn’t going to miss her opportunity to comment, as someone who frequent speaks out about politics and a public figure whose feud with the former Celebrity Apprentice star dates back to 2006. While hosting The View, O’Donnell made her dislike for Trump well known, stating that he is “not a self-made man” but a “snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie”. Since then, their public arguments have generated plenty of media attention, and today was sure to be no exception:

The feuding doesn’t end there, though.

Kathy Griffin is no stranger to Trump-infused controversy. Following a 2017 photograph which had the actress holding a mask that looked like Donald Trump’s decapitated head, the Emmy-award winning comedian suffered major blows to her career and was reportedly even added to the No Fly List of suspected terrorists.

Fresh off her feud with Trump earlier this month, Debra Messing simply added:

When They See Us star Ava DuVernay also took to Twitter to let fans know that today wasn’t just an Impeachment Inquiry, but rather, an #ImpeachmentParty:

But it’s Lizzo who sums up today’s news with the perfect emoji.
