The second royal wedding of the year is in the books, with Princess Eugenie now officially hitched to Jack Brooksbankstequila-filled wagon. Aside from Eugenie’s wedding dress — a stunner, btw — people were anxious to see what Duchesses Meghan and Kate were wearing. While Kate shone in a kicky cranberry frock, Megs kept it simple in a navy coat and dress. But it’s what was under the dress that had many tweeting up a speculative storm.

Ooooorrrrr, it’s just a coat. With the top two buttons done up, it flared out at the bottom, giving the illusion that there is something there. Or maybe she ate a big breakfast. Or she’s feeling bloated. Whatever. Who are we to judge? Because the Megs we know and love is a thoughtful, considerate human, she likely just wanted to keep it simple, wear a classic colour (hello, dark neutrals are Megs’ go-to!), and try to let Eugenie and Jack have their day and not let her fashion choices steal the bride and groom’s thunder.

That’s not going to stop the speculation, though. And the bumpwatch for Meghan has gotten icky. Do we want Harry and Meghan to live happily ever after? Of course. But people wanting Meghan to be pregnant because they believe it completes her and Harry’s happiness? Well, that’s just silly.

Sure, they’ve both said in the past that they want a family but when and if they decide to start is their business, no one else’s. And if they change their minds, that’s none of our beeswax either. They have the right to some privacy, no matter what so many think. And let’s not forget, while it seems like they’ve been together forever, they JUST got married. Let them just revel in their love for one another. Now, if they want to continue to show that off, we’re totally on board. The more PDA from these two, the better the world is for it.
