Tatyana Ali was backstage at Beautycon in Los Angeles, trying take photos of her outfit, when a car pulled up and out leapt the superhero supermodel of all of our dreams: Tyra Banks.
Tyra could see her assistance was required during the photoshoot and generously hopped out of her car to guide Ali do what she does best: smize for the camera, baby.
“When you go to @beautycon and you’re in your car leaving but you see a photo shoot happening that is kind of going in the wrong direction,” Tyra wrote on Instagram, along with one of the pics she snapped of Tatyana. Banks did acknowledge that the original photographer—whose own look of bemused shock at who was taking over his shoot was kind of amazing—eventually “took some amazing photos of this sweet orange-eyed beauty” after a quick five-minute lesson, then tagged the model. Welcome to the big leagues, Tatyana.
Ali took to social media to post about the experience, calling it the most iconic moment of her life and who can argue? Things like that don’t just happen to anyone and clearly the model gods must’ve been looking down at Ali.
