Election time is underway in the U.S. Meaning Canada is about to get flooded with the supporters of whoever doesn’t win.

At least, that’s according to their social media posts.

That’s why it’s not surprising that a few enterprising Americans have found a way to cash in on the big move. Just take Realtor Jeff Cook, for example. His company, Jeff Cook Real Estate, just ran a billboard in South Carolina letting residents know he’s your go-to guy if you’re thinking about moving to the Great White North before or after the November election.

The advertisement is also being displayed on Facebook.

“With the upcoming election and all the turmoil going on, we thought, why not do something fun out of this that will make everyone laugh?” Cook wrote in his blog. “Since the biggest joke concerning the election is moving to Canada if a certain candidate wins we decided to take that and run with it.”

While Cook wasn’t immediately available for comment, he did tell the Post and Courier that several customers have showed up at his business citing the billboard as their reason for showing up.

We guess we’ll get our welcome mats ready then.
