U2 gets the approval of busy New Yorkers
Jimmy Fallon has all kinds of tricks up his sleeve for The Tonight Show and on Friday’s show, he pulled the biggest rabbit out of his hat — in the form of U2.
The rockers donned disguises and performed on the Grand Central Subway station platform. They looked like four guys merely busking (with Jimmy, also undercover, trying to warm up the crowd) but once Bono started singing, there was no hiding it.
What began with a pared-down rendition of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” blossomed into a fully rocking version of “Desire.” They also sang “Angel of Harlem,” which wasn’t shown on the broadcast, but was luckily caught by savvy fans on video. You know you’ve made it when even commuting New Yorkers approve.
Kate writes emotional letter for Children’s Hospice Week
She may have her hands full with Princess Charlotte as well as Prince George running around but Duchess Kate managed to write a letter on behalf of Children’s Hospice Week to try and raise awareness for charities that help kids in need.
Sent from Kensington Palace, she wrote:
The charity, Together for Short Lives, is urging people to support the week by sharing a memorable moment on social media using the hashtag #momentscount, something Kate definitely knows.
NOKTB’s Jonathan Knight is hangin’ tough
If you had Jonathan’s face on your pillowcase back in the day (or now, we’re not judging) and he was the reason you were a hardcore New Kids on the Block fan, at least you can say you liked the toughest one.
Knight missed Saturday’s concert because he “had an accident on the bus” that left him looking black and blue.
“Sorry I won’t be on stage tonight,” he explained on Twitter. “Banged up my face badly, broke my nose and got a few stitches #fightclub.”
We’d hate to see the other guy.
Does Madonna want to have sex with Marilyn Manson? Because the feeling would be mutual.
Is this a match made in music heaven, or a nightmare? Manson told i-D magazine that he would love to do the nasty with Madonna. And because she knows how to keep it classy (when the time calls for it, of course) she responded the only way Her Madgesty should respond:

Marilyn’s OK but he’s no Drake.
That time Kanye accidentally let the world see his smile
Kanye West is known for being a curmudgeon — and wants to keep it that way. Kanye was at Sunday’s NBA game between the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers and while smiling mid-conversation with Scottie Pippen, he noticed the camera and quickly went back to his trademark scowl.
Just think. We almost caught him having a good time. Almost.
Wait! There’s more you might’ve missed over the weekend!
